MPH Consulting Limited
The firm has the professional staff and experience to provide clients with technical and operational expertise for projects ranging from grassroots exploration to mine development, and the financial and business skills to assist in structuring deals and organizing companies. The company has considerable experience in preparing technical reports for financial and securities institutions. It has also provided technical input to litigation proceedings and expert witness accounts in a number of mineral exploration/mining industry cases.
MPH can provide a complete range of geophysical services including; survey design and implementation, supervision of contractors and quality control, and modeling and interpretation. For example, MPH has developed proprietary software for processing of aeromagnetic data for the detection of kimberlite targets in complex magnetic terrain. MPH includes a team of field and office computer specialists. The department is familiar with leading mining, GIS and geophysical software. Services include database management, digitizing and preparation of maps and drawings, and design and layout of promotional material
The firm has deliberately chosen to remain a broad-based consulting organization and avoided focusing on narrow technical specialties, with the exception that it has developed a particular expertise in the management and design of exploration and evaluation programs in diamonds. The group has acquired extensive experience in searching for and evaluating opportunities for a wide range of commodities, with the result that it is particularly well-suited to manage and staff large scale exploration and evaluation projects, conduct regional/country appraisals and advise clients on mineral economics and policy.
Terraquest LTD
Terraquest, founded in 1984, specializes in airborne geophysical surveys, geophysical consulting, data interpretation, and enhancement. They have flown nearly 1500 surveys from as small as two claim blocks, to as large as 250,000 line kilometers. They have included various combinations of airborne magnetic, gamma spectrometry and electromagnetics.
This is what Terraquest Ltd have said about themselves on their website:
- Our senior crew has flown on every continent
- We have flown for governments, major producers, exploration companies, consultants and private investors.
- Our clients have employed us to search for precious metals, base metals, diamonds, hydrocarbons, uranium, aggregates and even water.
- A complete airborne geophysical systems for use on fixed-wing aircraft.
- Portable, lightweight, easy-to-install magnetometer survey system for use in light-turbine helicopters developed .
- Terraquest was among the very first, back in '89, to develop and commercially operate a horizontal gradiometer system and also among the first to recognize the exceptional quality of data available by flying slowly at very low altitudes.
- A complete inventory of hardware and software components, including magnetic base station, magnetometer processors, GPS receivers, and colour-video cameras that you would expect your survey company to own.
- Two fixed wing, specially modified, long range aircraft: a twin engine Navajo and a single engine Cessna 206. Both are equipped with three, split beam cesium vapour sensor magnetometers to provide detailed horizontal gradient magnetics.
- Piper Navajo Our twin-engine Piper Navajo is equipped with long-range tanks and configured with horizontal gradiometer, digital Scintillometer and digital video flight path recovery system. This is the aircraft we use for beta testing our electromagnetic reconnaissance system.
- Cessna u206Our single-engine Cessna 206 is particularly valuable for smaller projects and low-level survey work such as exploration for Navajo, it is equipped with split-beam, cesium-vapour-sensor magnetometers for detailed horizontal-gradient magnetics. King Air 90
The twin engine turbine Beachcraft King Air is ideally suited for large projects, particularly in rugged terrain where steep climb gradients are required. It is IFR equipped with twin PT6-20 turbines that ensure maximum speed on ferry as well as low speed capabilities while flying survey. The King air is equipped with the long range tanks capable of carrying approximately six hours of Jet fuel for extremely cost effective surveys, heavy duty tires, cargo doors, and full avionics. Like the Navajo, it is equipped with split-beam, cesium-vapour-sensor magnetometers for detailed horizontal-gradient magnetics as well as radiometrics.
